Guard Your Buddy is a joint effort by the Tennessee National Guard, The Jason Foundation, Inc., and E4 Health to give the men, women, and families in the Tennessee National Guard 24/7, confidential access to critical life resources, immediate support and counseling, and on-call suicide prevention.
The Guard Your Buddy project is designed to enhance the excellent resources already in place for the Tennessee National Guard.
Our Mission
The Guard Your Buddy program believes that it takes the community to help prevent suicide. GYB encourages friends, family members, co-workers, commanding officers and “Battle Buddies” to confidentially call GYB if they are concerned about a soldier. GYB will provide support and a plan for getting the soldier help.
